Answers to frequently asked questions

Dear reader,

the work of a publishing house is long and difficult, and the cultural sector is certainly not one of the most prosperous. If you want, you can give us a hand: before writing us an email or a question in a message on a social network, take a look at the following frequently asked questions, you may find exactly what you want to know.
It will be faster for you and less laborious for us!

How much is the shipping? When is it free?
Our shipments are all by courier. They are free from 99.00 euros. If you can find a book on our site that costs less than this amount, the shipping fee is 30.00 euros (it’s just one fee, because shipping would cost twice as much!).

What are the delivery times? Is it possible to have follow-up?
Your order will almost always be delivered to you in 15 business days (ie excluding Saturdays and Sundays)

In the case of orders paid by bank transfer, the indicated days will count from when we have actually received and visualized the transfer in our account, which may take between 2-3 working days. To speed things up, you can write to direct [at] edizioninpe.it (where [at] means ‘snail’, but we must write it like this to avoid viruses and death eaters). Send the proof of the bank transfer, the name and surname with which you made the order and the order number itself.
Whoever places an order will receive an email as soon as the newsroom assigns it to the courier service and then several emails with follow-up from the courier service. If you have not received them, check your SPAM!
The volume I ordered arrived damaged. How can I replace it?
Write an email with your name, surname and order number to the direct address [at] edizioninpe.it (where [at] means ‘at’). Attach some photos of the damage to the volume and/or package. In this way, we will be able to open the dispute with the courier service and arrange the replacement shipment.
Reinsert the damaged volume into the package, close it again. When you receive the new package, the courier will pick up the old damaged volume.

Who do I contact for information and/or problems with my order?

I want to know if a volume has already been published. How should I do?
We have created a dedicated search page, here it is.
You can search for a keyword, or you can search for an author or a series. Simply complete only one of the three fields.
But you can also do a combined search, entering a keyword and the name or surname of the author.
If you can’t find the book you’re looking for, it probably hasn’t been published yet, or you’ve got the wrong word.

Do you send cash on delivery?
Absolutely not.
The payment methods accepted by the site are PayPal, Credit Cards and Bank Transfer. In the latter case, obviously the shipment will not start until the transfer to our account is received and identified. This usually takes 2-3 business days (so Saturday and Sunday are excluded). To speed things up, you can send the bank transfer receipt to direct mail [at] edizioninpe.it (obviously [at] means ‘at’). In the mail, do not forget to enter the name and surname with which you made the order and the order code itself.

Will you be at the next Pinco Pallino Comics fair?
We try to go to all the main Italian fairs. For more information you can consult the publications on our social networks, or ask at the fair itself.
Keep in mind, however, that you will never find the fair editor or newsroom at the booth unless you make an appointment. Also, if you are an author who wants to propose, consider the following question.

I am an author and I would like to propose a project to Edizioni NPE or I would like to propose myself to work with you. How can I do it?
All you have to do is send a short email to redazione [at] edizioninpe.it (where [at] means ‘at’, but we must write it like this to avoid viruses and death eaters).
If you are proposing a project, please send us a pdf with your first name, last name, email, date of birth, residential address, a short synopsis of the project of about ten lines of the project. You can then attach, preferably via a download link, anything you want, drawings, studies, ready-to-use pages, the script, a resume if you have one, and why you think it’s a good project.
If, on the contrary, you propose yourself as an author, but you do not have a project in mind, whether you are a designer, a screenwriter or both, send us a pdf with your name, surname, email, date of birth, address and what you are looking for, what you propose , what you are interested in doing.
We are not really interested in receiving material at the fair. For some absurd reason, many authors are convinced that meeting the editorial staff in person can be more efficient than sending an email. Edizioni NPE always responds to all proposals in less than 7 working days, and our answers, whether yes, no or maybe, are precise and detailed.
At the fair there is no time, there is no desire and there is no peace of mind to give the author all the attention he deserves.
If you want to come visit us at the fair after presenting a project, we will be happy to chat together. However, make an appointment by email, because as mentioned, the newsroom is not fixed at the booth.
Really, it is useless to leave printed sheets at the booth. They would be lost unnecessarily: the destination of the return of the packages that would contain these sheets is not the newsroom but the logistics center that is hundreds of kilometers from the newsroom.

When we were in the third millennium, we preferred to start using only emails. They are a safe, fast medium that allows you to reflect and write things carefully, also aware of the fact that scripta manent.

We really try to do everything we can for our readers. So if something doesn’t go right by chance, we’ll be forgiven!
